The image
A study in attention.
Inside the ruins of Devín Castle, a black iron lattice occupies the foreground while rough stone, dry grass, and a pale opening of sky wait beyond it. The image makes its boundary impossible to ignore: the ruin is close enough to study, yet held at a measured distance.
Light moves unevenly across the enclosure, picking out fragments of masonry before they fall back into shadow. Behind the Grid treats the barrier not as an interruption, but as the structure through which the place is seen.
