Simon Simons is the photographic practice of Vienna-based artist Simon Marcel Schlieber. His work begins with sustained attention to the structures people move through: architecture, landscape, thresholds, ordinary objects and the brief arrangements travel leaves behind.

Working between Vienna and places encountered in transit, he photographs with both dedicated cameras and phones. The instrument changes; the commitment to light, composition and the physical print does not.

The archive is organised in independent series. Each photograph can stand alone, while the series holds the time, place and movement around it. Available works are produced in Vienna as carefully considered limited editions.
